Responsibilities

  • Prepare Family Law Related Documents: Draft and prepare essential legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to legal standards. This foundational responsibility is crucial for advancing our clients' cases and safeguarding their legal rights.
  • Provide Legal Counsel and Strategy: Offer tailored legal counsel and strategic planning based on each client's unique needs, guiding them through their legal challenges with expertise and empathy. Your ability to develop and implement effective strategies is key to protecting our clients' interests.
  • Represent Clients in Court: Advocate for our clients in court with professionalism and strategic acumen. Your courtroom presence and advocacy are vital in securing favorable outcomes, reflecting our firm's dedication to excellence and justice.
  • Handle Cases from Consultation to Trial: Managing cases independently showcases your ability to navigate complex legal landscapes, making a direct impact on our clients' lives and the firm's reputation.

Requirements:
  • Admission to practice in New Jersey: A fundamental requirement that ensures our team operates with the highest legal standards and local expertise.
  • 3+ years of family law experience: Your seasoned background in family law equips you to handle complex cases with confidence and skill.
  • Trial experience: Demonstrates your capability to represent clients effectively in a courtroom setting, a critical aspect of family law practice.
  • Strong written and analytical skills: Essential for developing compelling legal documents and strategies.
  • Self-motivation and organization: Key traits that enable you to manage caseloads efficiently and contribute your overall success.
  • Excellent research skills: A foundation for building strong cases and staying on top of legal trends.
  • Existing book of business (preferred): While not required, this is a plus that can accelerate your growth within the firm.
