Project Manager residential construction

Position: Project manager - Residential remodeling and new construction

Full time (40hrs/week)

Compensation: $80k-$100k / plus generous benefits package

Sequoia Custom Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced project manager to join our talented team. This person will play an intricate part in all Sequoia Custom Builders, Inc. projects. Qualified candidate will contribute to a dynamic and fast paced environment that encourages independence and creative problem solving. Our projects range anywhere from smaller custom millwork projects and bathroom remodels to full-gut house renovations, large additions and new construction custom homes. The majority of our work comes from our relationships with architects and designers as well as customer referrals in the greater boston, metrowest and north shore areas.

(70% onsite management, 30% office/communication) This position requires a general knowledge of all trades and an eye for detail. This person will work in close partnership with the GC and play a key role in supervising and providing direction to sub-contractors. Communication and the ability to see the big picture is key for this position in order to perform projects efficiently. This person is also able to ensure the cleanliness and safety of job sites and contribute to a positive work environment. Candidate must be professional, welcoming and considerate of customers, vendors and other trade professionals.

Compensation negotiable based on experience. REQUIREMENTS:

·       CSL

·       8 years minimum field experience / construction

·       Valid driver’s license

·       Good communication skills

·       Authorized to work in the U.S.

·       Read blueprints

·       Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution

·       Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution

·       Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
