Job Description:

Join our team as a Junior Collision Estimator at European Coachworks We are seeking an ambitious individual with a passion for the automotive industry and a desire to excel in collision estimation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate vehicle damage to asses and direct guests on making an informed decision on whether or not they will be dropping their car off with you
  • This position is based at Mercedes Benz of Escondido
  • Collaborate with customers, service writers to deliver world class service
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to generate detailed repair bids for guests
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair timelines, costs, and procedures
  • Assist senior estimators in various tasks and continuously learn and develop skills in estimation and customer service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience or education in automotive repair, collision estimating, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in using collision repair estimating software (e.g., Audatex, CCC ONE, Mitchell) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
