Our goal is to provide empirically based therapeutic services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); including communication, social, emotional, developmental, and functional needs. We aim to support the child’s family in meeting these needs and help bridge individual neurodevelopmental differences to create positive outcomes.

About the Position: Registered Behavior Technician

Bridging Differences ABA is looking for reliable, professional, fun, and energetic individuals who share our passion of serving and helping families to fill current Behavior Technician openings. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide 1:1 in-home ABA services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will be working directly with children to teach and implement a variety of skills, including self-help, communication, play, and social skills. We are seeking both certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as well as uncertified individuals looking to enter the ABA field. Courses and training to obtain your RBT certification are provided within the first 3 months.

Hours may vary (e.g.,15 minimum - 35 maximum per week) and travel is required. We offer initial paid training, ongoing supervision & training, and constant upskilling. The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field is in high demand; our company strives to provide exceptional high quality ABA services to our families and provide a positive and professional work environment with competitive wages. Position Requirements:

  • Enjoys working with children and adolescents
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a verifiable High School Diploma/G. E. D. at a minimum; Bachelor’s Degree, or near completion of a Bachelor’s degree preferred*
  • Resume, cover letter, and list of references required
  • Valid Driver's License + Car Insurance
  • Background Check Clearance
  • Physical Health Screening: Must be physically able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and sitting (likely at a smaller, child size table), have the ability to move and carry up to 40lbs, and react quickly if necessary (e.g., run after a child)
  • Complete submission of required documents (i.e., vaccination verification (e.g., MMR), TB clearance, auto insurance) prior to first day of work.
  • RBT, ABAT, or BCAT Certification preferred. If certified, proof of certification is required upon hire. If the candidate is un-certified, certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. BDABA provides the coursework and upon passing, reimbursement of certification application and exam costs.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Computer, Smartphone, and reliable access to Internet
  • Professional demeanor, respectful attitude, strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving and critical thinking.

Position Preference:

  • Bilingualism
  • CPR/First Aid
  • CPI Certification
  • 1 year verified related experience
  • 1 year verified ABA experience

Pay Scale:

$21.00-$25.00 (certified BCAT or RBT)

$20.00 (uncertified)

Note: A lower rate is applied throughout the course employment for non-client services (ie: training, meetings, ext.)

Work Location:

  • We currently provide ABA services to families in El Dorado, Sacramento, Amador, Nevada, and Placer counties.

We currently seeking candidates in Roseville, Sacramento, Folsom, Cameron Park areas

Availability:

  • Monday through Friday flexibility with hours 8am -7pm
  • Saturdays not required but we are open to see clients 8am- 7:00pm
