Job: Quality Assurance Specialist

Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager

Summary/Objective
This position is an operational role responsible for quality assurance and quality control functions for various clients. QA Specialist is responsible for reviewing documents in relation to the estimation of the property damages. The QA specialist should possess the knowledge of company process, product, and technology.


Essential Functions

  1. Maintain Home State adjuster license (or Designated Home State License) and other State licenses as required.
  2. Must possess property claim handling knowledge.
  3. Must have basic computer knowledge.
  4. Must have experience with Xactimate and/or Symbility estimating platforms.
  5. Practice and demonstrate positive time management skills.
  6. Demonstrate ability to be multi tasked talented.
  7. Understanding of policy to ensure coverage will be afforded.
  8. Make themselves familiar with all necessary documents (policy, general loss report, billing sheet, photos, estimate, sketch) to ensure accuracy.
  9. Must be able to identify damages and have a general knowledge of building construction and repair methods of covered damages.
  10. QA Specialists must be able to communicate with the field adjusters in a professional manner.
  11. Adapt to company structure change, as customers, contract and industry dictates.
  12. Assist QA Manager with assignments to contracted QA Reviewers.
  13. Ability to perform entry leadership role (team lead) in the event of a CAT PCS or ERMS related.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position: Specific workdays will be assessed based on volume of work but shall not fall below 5 days in a standard work week.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Maintain Home State adjuster license (or Designated Home State License) and other State licenses as required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
  3. Must be able to partner effectively with management.
  4. Experience improving customer service and performance metrics through tracking and analyzing data and development of key performance indicators.
  5. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
