Qualifications to apply:

  • Two plus years of dental assisting experience
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (Required)
  • X-Ray certification (Required)
  • CPR certification (Required)
  • DANB certification is a huge plus
  • Prior experience in pediatrics preferred
  • Open Dental knowledge a plus
  • Positive attitude, high energy team focused, kid loving, loyalty, commitment to excellence
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, no weekends with every other Friday off
  • Stable work history with excellent references
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work out of both Mount Pleasant locations

The Core responsibilities are:

  • Full scope of Dental Assistant services
  • Ability to assist chair side
  • Patient as well as parent interaction and relationships
  • Knowledge of all practice procedures
  • Assist with patient monitoring during sedations
  • Patient education and influence
  • Team orientated treatment presentation
  • Maintaining OSHA standards
  • Utilization of patient education materials and tools
  • New patient orientation
  • Patient management
  • Electronic patient records
  • Ability to take quality x-rays
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

Compensation: Excellent hourly wage, bonus compensation, medical insurance benefits, employee dental discount, continuing education, uniforms, discounted gym membership, supplemental insurance and vision insurance. In addition, Kids Teeth offers 401(K) and Paid time off (vacation and holidays) after one year of employment.
