Patient Transport

Job Details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Days (7a-4:30p) and Nights (11p-7:30a) available
  • Pay: $21/hr

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Patient experience as a CNA or Caregiver required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended period of time
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients safely.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient handling techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients, specimen, or medical records to and from various hospital departments.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing and clinical staff regarding patient needs.
  • Assist with patient transfers to beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment.
  • Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
