Job Description
VersaDesk is seeking a motivated and results-driven Marketplace Associate to join our Marketing team. As a Marketplace Associate, you will play a key role in expanding our presence on online marketplace platforms, optimizing product listings, and driving sales growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage Marketplace Presence:
- Oversee the company’s presence on various online marketplace platforms, including but not limited to Amazon, Staples, and Walmart Marketplace.
- Create and optimize product listings to ensure accuracy, relevance, and maximum visibility and conversion.
- Monitor marketplace trends, competitive landscape, and customer reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize Product Listings:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information, images, and specifications for accurate and compelling listings that follow marketplace guidelines.
- Implement keyword research and SEO best practices to enhance product visibility and ranking.
- Continuously update product information, pricing, and inventory levels to reflect changes and maintain consistency across platforms.
- Drive Sales Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and drive traffic to our products on marketplace platforms, including onsite advertising management.
- Analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and customer behavior data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to coordinate promotional campaigns, discounts, and special offers to attract and retain customers.
- Provide Marketplace Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for marketplace-related inquiries and issues from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Address customer feedback, reviews, and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive customer experiences.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to resolve order fulfillment, shipping, and returns issues as needed.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience (2 years) in e-commerce, online marketplace management, or digital marketing is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to track performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Walmart Marketplace) and marketplace best practices.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
