ASHER AUTOMOTIVE - Locally-owned and operated Auto Repair shop has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for an EXPERIENCED Automotive Technician.

To be considered for this job, you must have ALL of the following. Please DO NOT apply before reading below and if you do not have ALL of these qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in an AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE CENTER as a Technician.
  • Proven track record at service facility diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on gasoline and diesel vehicles.
  • STRONG and relevant experience with computerized diagnostics skills using the latest equipment (scan tools and lab scopes)
  • Own your tools and toolbox.

In addition to these items, ASE Certifications are strongly desired. The ideal person will also be comfortable with working on custom / non-factory setups, diesel pickups, and very knowledgeable with front end and alignments.

Some of the services you will perform:

  • Perform digital inspections on vehicles
  • Front end repair, suspension systems, and alignment
  • Brake repairs
  • Fluid inspections, system flushes, preventative maintenance
  • Driveline/Axle/Differential repair
  • Engine repair
  • Engine/Transmission replacement
  • Electrical and computer system diagnosis and repair
  • Diesel engine/electrical systems diagnosis including new after treatment systems.
  • Welding skills are a plus.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
