Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Akron, Ohio

Shift: 1st (8a-5p) Mon-Fri.

Pay: $15/hr. 

Job Description:

An Akron-based electronic distributor is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, with a focus on picking and packing orders, as well as strapping and wrapping pallets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
  • Strap and wrap pallets to ensure secure and safe transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven warehouse experience is required.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software is a plus.
