For Quality Inspectors, a high attention to detail is necessary - will train the right person to do the job
1st Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm2nd Shift – 3:00pm – 11:30pm3rd Shift – 11:00pm – 7:00am Setup Operator - $22+Quality inspector - $18.50Operator / Forklift $18.00Machine Operator - $16.50Occasional Voluntary Saturday Overtime. Temp-To-Hire – Hired after approximately 90 days.Must be willing to submit to Nationwide Background Check and Drug Test.Eligible for Raise and Benefits once hired on

Quality Inspector
Job Description:As a Heat Treat Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of heat-treated components produced within our facility. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections throughout the heat treatment process to verify adherence to specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection Procedures: Perform visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections of components before and after heat treatment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Record inspection results accurately and maintain detailed documentation of all findings.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce compliance with quality standards and procedures during the heat treatment process.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct hardness testing, microstructure analysis, and other relevant tests to verify material properties.
- Problem Solving: Identify non-conformities, investigate root causes, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth flow of components through the heat treatment process.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety within the heat treat department.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- 100% Consistent error free work
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Attnetion to Detail
- General electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Able to operate independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to successfully communicate with other team members to ensure customer requirements are met
- Ability to read and follow Work Instructions
- Demonstrate steady, methodical, error-free work output
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Bending, stooping, standing, walking on hard surfaces
- Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Ability to work in hot environment
- Ability to use hands and arms to operate equipment
- Shop environment - Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
