Medical Billing Assistant

Seeking a detailed-oriented Medical Biller to join our Team. The ideal candidate musts have experience in medical billing, collections, coding terminology, familiar with clearing houses., etc.
Work directly with Medical Billing Manager (Team Player)
Review and verify accuracy of billing data
Generate and submit medical claims to insurance companies
Follow up on unpaid claims, heck each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract
Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payment if necessary
Review Accounts, research appeal denied
Answer patient or insurance inquiries
Familiar with DRG, ICD-9, ICD 10 codes
Experience with medical office systems
Proven experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
