Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate at MACHETE, you will play a pivotal role in our e-commerce shipping operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of orders. Your attention to detail and collaboration skills will contribute to a smooth workflow, maintaining the high quality standards we uphold.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with your warehouse team to create a collaborative and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in the execution of e-commerce shipping processes, including accurate order picking, packing, and timely shipping.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including marketing and customer service, to align on order priorities and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to ensure punctual deliveries and scheduled pick ups and help resolve shipping-related challenges.
  • Support the implementation of effective warehouse layouts, processes, and systems to enhance order fulfillment accuracy and reduce errors.
  • Participate in monitoring inventory levels and collaborate with inventory control to maintain accurate stock counts and prevent shortages.
  • Utilize data and analytics to help track warehouse performance, order accuracy, and shipping efficiency.
  • Contribute to maintaining safety protocols by adhering to OSHA guidelines and company policies.
  • Assist in training new team members on warehouse procedures, systems, and safety protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost-saving initiatives within warehouse operations.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote efficiency and safety.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, preferably in an e-commerce setting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and basic project management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate order processing.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with teams and vendors.
  • Ability to approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, addressing shipping issues proactively.
  • Basic analytical skills to assist in interpreting data and making informed decisions.
  • Understanding of inventory management principles and basic knowledge of order tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and commitment to adhering to safety practices within a warehouse setting.
