Greater Things Christian School is seeking 2 Preschool Teachers for our Little Warriors Christian Preschool program.

Greater Things Christian School is a private Christian school that was founded in 2013 and is located in Burns, TN. The preschool has an enrollment of 120 students.

Job Description:

• Work closely with the Co-Teacher and Director to plan daily lessons.
• Assist in implementing the curriculum to meet the needs of students.
• Create and maintain a safe learning environment for all students.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Maintain classroom supplies with a well stocked classroom.
• Develop schedules for your classroom based on their age and developmental needs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly classroom environment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.

Required Skills:

• Must have testimony of saving faith in Christ and be an active member of a local church.
• At least one year minimum experience working with children in a licensed childcare center or preschool setting.
• Strong verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and parents to meet the educational and emotional needs of students.
• Ideal candidate will be a team player and value the ability to be flexible and adjust to various needs/changes occurring during a shift.
• Be able to lift children when needed (max 30-40 pounds) and comfortable up/down and on the move throughout the day.
• Ideal candidate must have a servant's heart and genuine love and patience for children.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
