About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated TAR I/E Field Coordinator to join our Field Coordination Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the Turnaround (TAR) execution for Maintenance and Capital Project work, specifically focusing on Instrumentation & Electrical (I/E) and low voltage systems. You will utilize the TARM Best Practices and Processes to ensure efficient and effective project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Shutdown Activities:

  • Review the I&E activities in the Planned Job Packages (PJPs) to become familiar with the tasks to be executed during the Shutdown.
  • Support contractors to ensure they understand the contents of the I&E activities in the PJPs.

Shutdown Activities:

  • Provide field support to the Execution organization for I&E activities, including safety and quality oversight.
  • Act as the primary contact for contractors and service suppliers, and interface with the TAR Logistics team.
  • Adjust the I&E activities in the job sequence, resources, and priority to maintain cost and schedule goals, with approval from the TAR Execution Coordination Team.
  • Monitor the progress report process and provide validation where necessary.
  • Drive field execution productivity by participating in productivity audits and ensuring contractors have all necessary documentation, materials, and tools to complete the work.
  • Provide final QA/QC for the I&E work in your area.
  • Document daily findings and events, including notes and photographs.
  • Ensure Discovery work is addressed through the TAR-specific work process, and support planning, estimating, and procurement of materials and services as necessary.
  • Approve or decline Extra work requests from Contractor Supervision in a timely manner.
  • Participate in safety and housekeeping walkthroughs and incident investigations as required.
  • Provide contractors with any additional documentation needed to conduct work properly, and sign time sheets if required.

Post-Shutdown Activities:

  • Ensure input to contractor evaluations is provided.
  • Participate in review meetings and creation of lessons learned.
  • Submit updated planning details, daily notes, photos, and other documentation to the TAR Execution Lead Coordinator for proper archiving.
  • Assist with verification that purchase orders, notifications, and work orders are closed.
  • Help clean up infrastructure and facilities, including warehouse re-inventory and surplus disposal.

Qualifications

  • College Degree- Required
  • Professional Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience.
  • Scheduling/Planning Experience: At least 5 years in scheduling/planning within the chemical, petrochemical, or similar manufacturing/project environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of I& E Systems and low voltage systems. 
  • Attention to Detail: Strong quality focus with attention to detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities.
