Title: Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Bartlett, IL 

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an automation equipment manufacturer. They have great benefits including 401 match and profit-sharing quarterly bonuses based on company performance. 


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years total industry experience. (Stability 4+ years)
  • 5+ years of automation design/capital equipment design experience
  • Strong proficiency in 3D solid modeling - Solidworks preferred 
  • Experience modeling parts and assemblies 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage concurrent projects and associated tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure the timely success of every system.
  • Collaborate inter-departmentally to develop the best design for every system.
  • Design and detail automation systems consisting of machined and formed components, parts conveyance, part fixturing, vision systems, and articulating robot arms.
  • Produce excellent automation designs
