Sales Arborist

We are an established tree care company seeking an experienced, motivated individual for a full time sales position. Primary responsibilities include: Generating new business through creative sales techniques targeting commercial, municipal, property managers, and large landscape companies. This shall include selling of our products and services as follows: mulch, wood disposal, tree trimming/removal services, new tree installation, communicating with Production Manager and office staff and more.

Duties include:

· Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients

· Maintain and develop relationships with municipalities, old and new

· Network effectively to develop new business

· Use creative sales techniques to drive in estimates

· Perform site inspections for proposal preparation

· Effectively price all types of tree care and mulch services offered

· Be able to function effectively in a fast paced work environment

· Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance

· Site inspection, mapping and set-up

REQUIREMENTS:

· ISA Arborist Certification preferred OR minimum 2-5 years arboriculture experience

· Experience in a sales oriented environment with proven sales track record and ability to attain required sales goals

· Knowledge of tree identification, diagnostics, and services and ability to effectively price tree care recommendations and services

· Ability to identify problems and work in conjunction with others to implement effective solutions

· Strong verbal and written communication skills a must including an outgoing personality to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers

· High School diploma

· Valid Illinois driver’s license

Position is salaried, compensation commensurate with experience. Includes paid holidays, vacation time, health insurance, 401K, company vehicle and continued education.
