Position Overview:

Our Innovations by VP Team is seeking to hire a cabinet installer to join our Rochester showroom team to continue to expand and meet the growing needs of our customers.

This position will be working with homeowners, builders and contractors for new construction and remodeling projects. Applicants must have excellent organization and superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure, install and assemble cabinets at customer locations or our showroom, ensuring compliance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
  • Light construction in our showroom
  • Conduct on-site assessments to determine project requirements and communicate effectively with clients and project managers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, recommending and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, hours worked, and tasks completed for each installation project.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cabinet Installer or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Experience in light remodeling.
  • Experience in kitchen cabinet installation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience working with diverse teams.
  • Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • This position is required to work on-site at customer locations the majority of the time. There will be required travel throughout geographical footprint on a regular basis and off hour work may be required.

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to climb ladders and be able to carry items of 50 pounds or more.
