Role Description

Imagine partnering with the Managing Director of the Portage office to ensure the firm’s continuous growth. You’ll play an integral role in cultivating a culture that supports high-energy, positivity, and high expectations to foster the growth and development of the financial planning team. We are people on a mission to deliver financial independence and peace of mind with humility and ferocious resolve.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leadership

· Work closely with Managing Director to implement the vision for the firm

· Be a Culture Keeper

· Ownership of your results

Selection

· Facilitate one interview in the Selection Process

· Identify potential talent to refer to the firm

· Help candidates onboard in their role

Training

· Organize content and training schedule

· Facilitate engaging and impactful training sessions

Development

· Strategize, manage, and track office expectations

· Track activity, production, and commitment to the career for all new FRs.

· Conduct the activity coaching meetings.

· Manage Weekly Development Team Meeting attended by members of the Leadership Team to give weekly feedback on each new FRs progress, strengths and areas of opportunity.

Joint Work/Mentoring

· Maintain the joint work list and manage use by the new advisors.

· Communicate results to the leadership team.

· Perform joint work.

· Mentor representatives.

· Conduct case consultation meetings.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

· Three- to six-years of experience in one of the following: sales, sales leadership, financial services or other relevant experience

· Superior meeting facilitation and presentation skills.

· Experience coaching and providing feedback to peers.

· Aptitude for addressing issues in a proactive and creative manner and lead crucial conversations. Using a results-focused approach.

· Effective time management to address multiple priorities at multiple levels.

· Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

· Superior written and oral communication skills.

· Committed to professional development (e.g., licensing, registration, designations).
