Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Overview of job responsibilities and duties: Working with your Team Leader (Charge Nurse (RN)), as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will be responsible for:

  • Rendering nursing care to residents.
  • Observing and reporting symptoms and conditions.
  • Taking vital signs.
  • Administering medications and recording reactions.
  • Collaborating with physicians regarding changes in condition.
  • Maintaining records reflecting the resident’s ongoing condition(s).
  • Assist with feeding residents needing support.
  • Assist in improving the overall welfare of the residents.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements: Current license with Ohio Board of Nursing, CPR Certified (BLS preferred).
