Automotive Technician Mechanic

We are a small family-run auto repair shop located in downtown Napa, and are looking for a mechanic to help us handle our work load.

Our shop has been in business for over 40 years and we have a great reputation in our community. Our monthly car count has increased rapidly in the last year or so as our customers tell their friends and family members.

We preform a variety of services,from oil changes to engine replacement.

Most of our work is under the hood, or mechanical in some aspect. We do not replace tires, glass, or body panels. We also do not preform Smog Inspections.

We work from 8 to 5, Monday through Friday, so very standard hours.

Specialize in Imports such as Toyota/Honda/Nissan, but we service most makes and models, including domestic.

What we are looking for:

Master Technician (level A or B)

- Will diagnose customer vehicles and preform larger, more in depth repairs.

This person should be able to competently:

Identify problems with vehicles by using diagnostic equipment and preforming test drives/inspections.

Explain automotive repairs, issues and provide great customer service.

Plan repair procedures and help with solutions for customer vehicles.

Test the functionality of parts and systems.

Perform basic to advanced auto care and maintenance tasks.

Repair and replace a variety of parts and equipment.

This person should have at least 6 years of hands-on shop experience and have minimum certifications.

This position will pay no less than $28 - all based on experience and skill level.
