Position Summary:
As a Shipping Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our shipping processes. From preparing orders to coordinating shipments and managing documentation, your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence.

Key :

- Assist in preparing and packaging orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer requirements.

- Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.

- Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and requirements, including hazardous materials handling

- Inspect outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and condition of goods, addressing any discrepancies or damages as needed.

- Maintain organized records of shipping activities, including tracking information, inventory levels, and shipment status updates.

- Monitor shipping supplies and replenish as needed to support ongoing operations.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and warehouse teams, to resolve shipping
-related issues and improve processes.

- Assist in the implementation of shipping
-related initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.

- Forklift Experience

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with carriers, colleagues, and customers.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

- Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast
-paced work environment.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages as needed.
