Job Description: Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for design. As an Interior Designer, you will provide creative and technical support to clients for interior display projects, with responsibilities divided as follows: 50% design, 30% client interaction, and 20% administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design custom modular displays and floor layouts to meet client specifications.
• Provide creative solutions to adapt to changing project requirements and tight timelines.
• Engage with clients to reassure project completion and address any concerns.
• Develop detailed project proposals, including presentation drawings and quotations.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to align customer needs with appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Make interdepartmental improvement recommendations and provide training as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in interior design preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on custom modular design and floor layouts.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
• Technical savvy with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to quickly interpret customer needs and effectively communicate design solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience interacting with clients and maintaining effective relationships.

Interview Process:

• Initial interview with hiring managers.
• Onsite interview with the leadership team.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of interior design experience.
• The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience, with modular display design experience preferred.

Direct Reports: This position does not have any direct reports.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design consultation and project management.
• Client relationship management.
• Proposal development and documentation.
• Interdepartmental collaboration and training.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint.
• Understanding of documentation, BOMs, and assembly detailing.
