Job DescriptionJob Description

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Nutritionist to support a clinics Women, Infant, and Children program in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and be a Registered Dietician. Responsibilities include determining eligibility of WIC applicants according to State and Federal policies, providing nutrition counseling to low and moderate risk WIC clients according to State Agency policies, evaluating and documenting the need for Non-Contract formulas requested by WIC clients according to policies, conducting Nutrition and Breastfeeding education classes individually and in groups, and other duties, as necessary.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5:30p (one Saturday required per month)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration or
  • Licensed Dietitian (LD) (licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians)
  • Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish
