About the Opportunity:
MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER II

If so, Nanolumens is looking for you We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in consumer or industrial product development to join our team and help us revolutionize the world of LED displays.
What You'll Do: As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you'll play a key role in the development of our custom-built display products. You'll work closely with our manufacturing and sales teams to design, prototype, and bring to market the next generation of LED displays. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating, reviewing, and approving designs, drawings, and specifications for product development.
- Ensuring that our product designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.
- Developing quality specifications for inspection and testing based on engineering, consumer, and regulatory standards.
- Managing the development, prototyping, and initial production of mechanical products.
- Communicating technical details of our products to customers, sales teams, and engineering/manufacturing staff.
What We're Looking For: We're looking for hands-on, innovative engineers. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
- Proficiency in engineering drafting, including tolerances and Bill of Materials.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Firm understanding of material components and processes (for example: sheet metal, metal fabrication / forming / assembly, metal welding/plating/coating, metal stamping, metal precision machining)
