Dock Forklift Driver

Dock Lift Driver $18-$19 an hour to start
Works closely with the Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Safely operates a lift truck while loading and unloading truck-bound freight from the loading dock. Maintains orderly material storage for processing lines, shipping, and receiving purposes. Aids plant management in housekeeping and other functions as assigned.
- Must have the ability to operate a lift truck in tight working conditions safely
- Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them in assigned places
- Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Must be able to read and understand the shipping and receiving bills of lading, customer packing slips
- Must be able to read and understand all internal processing paperwork
- Has a crucial role in the incoming inspection of raw material
- Must maintain responsibilities by all provisions stipulated by AS9100, ISO9001, and NADCAP processing
- Duties include but are not limited to, the weighing, labeling, banding, wrapping, packaging, staging, and shipping of finished compound
- Inform the Shipping Clerk, Team Lead, or Department Supervisor of any unsafe situations, obstacles to working efficiently, or their inability to perform any of these listed duties safely
- Will focus on efficiency, communication, quality, and safety
- Transferring materials between different departments, housekeeping, and administrative tasks
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
