Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Shoe Sales Associate to join our team at the Third Street Promenade location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our customers. As a Shoe Sales Associate, you will assist customers in finding the right footwear, maintain store presentation, and contribute to the store's sales goals. Knowledge of our rich history and shoes is a must, and associates are required to wear a pair of Cherokee shoes every day to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
  • Assist customers in selecting shoes that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed product information and offer recommendations based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current shoe trends, product offerings, and the brand's history.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise as needed.
  • Participate in-store events and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and inventory control.
  • Wear a pair of Cherokee shoes every day to work to represent the brand authentically.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in the footwear or fashion industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
