Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA Lumper is responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. In addition to loading and unloading Trucks, a Lumper also has a range of other warehouse duties such as packaging shipments or checking inventories as needed. First 3 days the pay rate will range from $17hr-$18hr after training Lumper will get paid per weight.
Primary responsibilities:
- Filling /emptying bulk material storage areas.
- Handling of materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic, and other debris.
- Filling and loading trucks with equipment from the shipping department.
- The lumper must be able to work quickly and efficiently and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Sorting materials for use in tire manufacturing
- Responsible for moving materials between different areas or departments.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lb
- Safety Vest/Steel toe shoes or boots/Safety goggles
- Must be able to use a pallet jack
