General Job Description:

A Gasvoda Group Service Technician is a skilled, and flexible technician that can work on a variety of products and provide excellent customer service. At GG we represent over 60 manufacturers and a Technician will be responsible for learning a variety of skills to work on the equipment that we represent. A service technician will predominantly work at a customer’s location to install, maintain and trouble shoot equipment pertaining to the water and wastewater industry. A Service Technicians will need to be able to draw from their knowledge base, and use creative, analytical thinking to provide excellent customer service to customers. At GG we expect that our Service Technicians will be able to draw on a knowledge base of water, wastewater, electrical, and mechanical abilities.

 

At Gasvoda Group we have a motto of “Whatever it Takes” and expect that to be carried through with the service technicians. They need to be able to communicate effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and retainage. We also expect that they communicate customer needs internally so the correct department is aware of actions that need to be taken.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Traveling to appointments at customer job sites and performing requested work

·         Installing and testing products, equipment, and machinery and providing instructions to customers on the proper usage of their product

·         Using diagnostic tools to identify issues and evaluating the available information

·         Fixing defective or broken products or ordering the necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out parts

·         Servicing equipment

·         Promoting the company's services.

·         Complete appropriate job reports while still at job site

·         Report back to appropriate personnel with customer inquiries

·         Maintaining fleet vehicle with needed maintenance and maintaining cleanliness

·         Physical ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment, work in confined spaces, and bend frequently

·         Ability to work overtime as necessary

·         On call rotation for one week at a time
