Diesel Tech                           

Location: Elizabeth, PA

Monday – Friday    7:00am – 6:00pm

Occasional Saturday and After Hours Call Out

 

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on work experience

This position is both shop and mobile maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Make major and minor repairs on trucks and trailers, including but not limited to: engine repairs and tune ups, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmission work, cooling systems, chassis repairs, brake work.
  • Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, etc.
  • Perform diagnostic tests.
  • Perform DOT Inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs that are performed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop.

Required and Preferred qualifications are:

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience.
  • Must have necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
  • Must have a PA inspection license or willing to get it.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Steady work experience.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
  • Preferred candidate have CDL.
