Bookkeeper

About the Company

  • Our client is a strategy consulting firm dedicated to enhancing the employee experience. They are growing and looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team.
  • Work a 3-2 schedule with only 2 days on-site
  • Enjoy a 401k match

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper

  • Handle all AP/AR functions
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Compute and record numerical data
  • Process AP entries, around 25 invoices a month
  • Perform weekly check runs
  • Assist with invoicing and invoice preparation
  • Help with billing, especially e-invoicing under the supervision of the senior accountant
  • Cut around 30 checks a month for AP and 30 for billing
  • Generate invoices, ensure accurate time tracking, and manage the entire invoicing process
  • Handle credit card files monthly
  • Reach out to check timesheet and expense report submissions
  • Conduct monthly data audits with a checklist
  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties

Desired Qualifications for the Bookkeeper

  • 1+ years of general accounts payable and accounts receivable experience or bookkeeping experience
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
