Minutemen Staffing is hiring for an experienced maintenance technician.

2nd shift starting at $23.70 per hour

  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Will be required to complete TPC Maintenance Training Series 100 and 200 Courses which include Fundamentals, Safety, and Electrical Systems.
  • Understands and follows all plant safety procedures and regulations.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: S.O.P.s Has ability to understand S.O.P.s
  • Be able to generate and close work orders using CMMS system (MP2).
  • Thorough understanding of “Food Safety” and GMPs.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule include overtime and weekends
  • Work is expected to be performed at different heights/levels. This includes access to the ceiling, roof, cooling towers, etc. You will be expected to work at varying heights, using proper safety equipment.
  • Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, Internet). Will be trained to use our Work Order Management System and Factory Automation system to access work details, order parts, look up information, and close out jobs.
  • The job may require you to be available for off-shift or emergency maintenance response in the event of unexpected maintenance issues. You will need to be available and help if needed to restore production in a reasonable time frame.


Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and dress code:

  • Clean, climate-controlled, food manufacturing environment. Must adhere to all safety regulations that are specific to the food industry, including “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP’s). May be required to wear hair nets, eye, and ear protection, etc.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear, sometimes crouch, and climb stairs.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet, hot, humid, and/or cold conditions; high precarious places; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and the position is fast paced. May need to lift to 50 lbs.
