Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our facility. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and disassemble machinery and equipment according to blueprints, manuals, and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and adjusting machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate alignment and calibration of machinery
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to understand equipment operations
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve equipment-related problems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machinery operations
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for alignment and calibration purposes
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, logic controllers, and field service procedures
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Welding skills are a plus
