Watermelon Swim's mission is to grow a community full of safer swimmers and reduce the risks while increasing confidence in and around water.

Great opportunity to earn an exceptional pay rate and work a consistent weekly schedule of at least 2 weekday evening shifts and either a Saturday or Sunday morning shift.


Our Melontastic Swim Instructors are generally responsible for the following:

  • Teaching swimming, safety, and survival from babies through adults to promote confidence in and around the water.
  • Managing classes of 1-4 students while providing hands-on swim instruction.
  • Tracking progress and celebrating swimmers' successes.
  • Engaging parents in students' progress.
  • Providing encouragement, guidance and FUN


Characteristics, Skills, and Qualifications necessary for success:

  • Passionate, friendly, reliable, patient
  • Excellent communication skills to easily build trust and relationships with students and parents.
  • Ability to teach students in a positive and encouraging manner.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred but not required.
