M.H. Eby, Inc., an industry leading manufacturer of aluminum transportation equipment, is searching for Manufacturing Engineering Technicians to support our growing operation in Story City, IA.

Benefits

*Paid time off available after 90 days of employment - 2 weeks total awarded in 1st year, 3 weeks awarded at start of 2nd & 3rd years, 4 weeks awarded at start of 4th year forward.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Potential hires must pass a physical and 4 panel drug screen before starting employment.

Qualifications:

*AAS in Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a minimum of 5 years of related experience.

*Strong computer skills, to include experience with CAD or other design software, Excel, and Word.

*Experience with various manufacturing / metal fabrication methods, including:

**Aluminum and steel welding

**CNC machining, punching, bending, cutting, etc.

**Production layout, process flow optimization, work cell design, etc.

*Strong problem solving and analytical skills

*Excellent work ethic and motivation to succeed.

*Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers at every level of the organization.

Responsibilities:

*Assist Manufacturing management in the design and optimization of production processes, to include focus on manufacturing methods, work cell layouts, labor distribution, and material utilization.

*Coordinate with Production, Materials, Design Engineering, and Sales personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the manufacturing process.

*Review order accuracy and manufacturability of made-to-order products.

*Assemble manufacturing routers, calling out specific and unique requirements for each component, and providing guidance and clarification to production personnel as needed.

*Participate in day to day activities to optimize product quality, employee safety, and production efficiency.
