Dermatology Associates of Virginia (DAV) is expanding its Richmond presence and is offering a complete skincare experience with a new clinical location dedicated solely to all of Richmond’s aesthetic needs. Located in the near West End at Reynolds Crossing, the Center encompasses a calming and inviting environment offering the latest in science-forward skincare solutions, advanced facial treatments, and medical aesthetics injections, complemented by a curated range of skincare products.

Position Requirements:
DAV is looking for a front desk associate to set the tone and create the ultimate patient experience. The candidate is responsible for greeting patients in a pleasant and positive manner, checking them into their appointment, collecting any deposits, updating cosmetic consents, prepping charts, and setting expectations of services to be rendered. Additionally, this energetic individual will be deeply knowledgeable with all medical aesthetics procedures and the skincare lines offered. They will provide patient education and create an exceptional and welcoming environment for all DAV guests.

The front desk concierge will also:

  • Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Manage and resolve recurring problems.
  • Be conscientious, patient, flexible, honest, and dependable.
  • Possess superior communication skills to deal with other employees and patients in a professional and positive manner.
  • Perform other duties as requested by providers, administrator, or supervisor.
  • Keep the patient waiting area clean and presentable.
  • Take product inventory and stock skincare products.
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • GED/High School Education
  • Outstanding customer service skills and minimum of 1 year experience in a medical spa/cosmetic/salon environment or with a premiere retail store is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of staff, patients, physicians, and vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m to 5 p.m. and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. There will be opportunities for extended hours for special events and potential for extended Friday hours.
