Massage Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Perform massage therapy techniques to address clients' specific needs and preferences
- Assess clients' conditions and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide pain management and relief through various massage modalities, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to inform treatment decisions
- Conduct physical examinations to evaluate clients' health status and identify any contraindications or precautions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and exercises to enhance the effectiveness of their treatments
- Collaborate with the chiropractor to provide comprehensive care
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both clients and staff
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the treatment process
Requirements:
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in pain management techniques and acute pain management
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong skills in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities
- Ability to conduct physical examinations and assess clients' health conditions
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols is a plus
- 2+ years of experience of working in a medical clinic would be preferred but not a requirement
