Paragon Events is a premier corporate event planning company known for its personalized/premium service and extensive expertise in organizing high-profile events for a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and associations. With a strong footprint in corporate events, we specialize in planning large conferences, incentives, and other key corporate events. We are looking for a driven Sales Executive to join our team and help expand the sale of our services.

As a Sales Executive, you are tasked with spearheading the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure. Your responsibilities include cultivating leads, advancing sales initiatives, managing client expectations, and promoting our brand's value. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in business development, a demonstrated history of success, and experience in engaging with enterprise-level clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Outreach: Proactively identify and engage potential new clients through various strategies including social media platforms, industry events, and direct outreach (particularly Email).
  • Manage Prospect Inquiries: Promptly address inquiries from our website and social media channels to capitalize on potential sales opportunities and enhance customer engagement.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to signing contracts. This includes crafting responses to RFPs, delivering compelling presentations, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Client Relations: Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for additional engagements.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the marketing, event planning, and association management teams to develop tailored proposals that meet the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Performance Tracking: Utilize CRM systems to track and report interactions with prospective and current clients, ensuring all leads are followed up on in a timely manner.

Qualification/Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in sales, preferably within the event planning or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics, with the ability to run a complete sales cycle.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a knack for engaging high-level executives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM software and LinkedIn for lead generation and sales tracking.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook etc.), and Adobe Acrobat.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with an average of 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (EST). Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel:

Up to 30%
