Duties and Responsibilities

Basic duties of the Industrial/Commercial Electrician include maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading all types of electrical/mechanical equipment, which include motors, drives, gear box, motor control centers, controls, PLC, and instruments.

· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

· Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

· Test electrical systems to ensure proper function.

· Ability to troubleshoot a verity of pumps and gear boxes.

· Ability to rebuild a variety of pumps and gear boxes.

 

 

Skills/Qualifications

· 3 plus years of industrial electrical maintenance experience

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

· A strong emphasis on safety practices.

· Knowledge of control and automation systems.

· PLC system troubleshooting experience.

· Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

· Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.

· Extensive experience with AC and DC motors and drives

· Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environments.
