WTI an accredited institution and the leader in technical “hands-on” training, is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology Instructor. We offer a variety of CompTIA and Microsoft Certification courses. Current courses include A+, Network +, & Security +.

IT Instructor Essential Functions

• Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus provided
• Supervise independent or group projects, laboratory work or other training
• Advise students on academic and vocational concerns
• Maintain knowledge of relevant student certification testing to ensure class activities support testing needs in addition to needs in the workplace
• Observe and evaluate students' work to determine progress, providing feedback and making suggestions for improvement when necessary

IT Instructor Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills in the areas of collaboration, team participation, creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, group planning, and decision-making
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be student-focused and work well without close supervision
• Bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and multi-cultural awareness
• Have a moderate level of computer and technology skills
• CompTIA A+, Network +, and Security + Certification required
• 3+ years of IT-related industry experience required
• No previous teaching experience required

Schedule:

Mon-Thurs Split Schedule 10 hour days

7:50a to 12:50p & 5:30p to 10:30p

No Fridays = 3-day Weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
