House of Granite is a family ran business that has been helping homeowners and contractors to bring natural stone and quartz to remodels and newly built homes. Our specialty is in natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite, etc) and man made material (quartz). We are a slab yard where customers can hand pick their slabs for their varies kitchen and other renovation projects. We provide service all over San Diego County with our brick and mortar location in Oceanside. Our goal is to help to bring nature's beauty into people’s homes and makes the process less daunting.

House of Granite is searching for a new Sales Representative and wants to help customers understand the scope of their project while also providing some design tips.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Providing outstanding customer service to homeowners and contractors, while also providing informative information
  • Scheduling customers and slab deliveries
  • Responding to phone calls and emails with information on current jobs or potential jobs
  • Formulating quotes based off of cabinet dimensions or drawings
  • Giving customers some design tips while also supporting their decisions
  • Explaining to customers the difference between materials (ie. granite versus quartz)
  • Building relationships with contractors and customers
  • Ordering material from different distributors
  • Helping with social media presence
  • Basic forklift skills or willingness to learn basic forklift skills

Qualifications/Skills

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must speak English but speaking multiple languages is welcome
  • Preferably has had some sales experience, but is not required
  • Has some social media experience
  • Problem solver
  • Good communicator
  • Works well with others
  • Organized
  • Ready to learn about a new industry
