We are currently seeking an experienced Welder Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both welding and pipefitting, with the ability to work on various projects in diverse settings. The Welder Pipefitter will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining piping systems while ensuring the highest quality standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Pipe Fabrication:

    • Measure and cut pipes to required lengths using cutting torches, saws, and pipe cutters.
    • Perform welding and fabrication of pipes, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications.
    • Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications to plan pipe layouts and configurations.
  2. Pipe Installation:

    • Install and assemble piping systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Secure pipes to structures with the use of brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
    • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient project completion.
  3. Welding:

    • Weld pipes using various welding techniques such as stick, TIG, MIG, or flux-cored welding.
    • Conduct inspections to ensure welded joints meet quality and safety standards.
    • Repair or replace defective welds as necessary.
  4. Quality Control:

    • Perform inspections on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and project requirements.
    • Identify and resolve any issues related to pipefitting or welding, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
  5. Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following OSHA guidelines.
    • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.
  6. Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
    • Complete and submit required documentation and reports in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  1. Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder Pipefitter.
    • Proven expertise in welding and pipefitting techniques.
  2. Certifications:

    • Welding certifications preferred (e.g., AWS).
    • Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
  3. Skills:

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
    • Strong welding skills using various techniques.
    • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools related to welding and pipefitting.
  4. Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
  5. Communication:

    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
