Veterinary Delivery Driver at Amare Pet Cremation is an important position within our mobile veterinary practice focused on end-of-life care for pets. They extend our care to our client families through their respectful and compassionate work related to transport and administration of pre and post-cremation processes.

The role involves the respectful and compassionate transport of deceased pets and return of cremains using a company vehicle. The team member has a variety of tasks throughout the day that occur throughout the Denver Metro Area and north to Fort Collins. The role sometimes involves interacting with people who have just experienced the loss of a beloved pet. We assist families by extending compassion and kindness while handling the arrangements for the pet’s cremation services. In some cases you’ll assist one of our veterinarians after an in-home appointment, at other times you’ll visit a home independently to assist with a deceased pet.

The skills necessary to be successful in this role are:

  • Demonstrated history of responsibility, showing up on-time and completing responsibilities with an attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal communication

  • Ability to work independently with commitment to teamwork

  • Safe and efficient driving, clean driving record

  • Completion of record keeping, organizing, and cleaning tasks

  • Move stretchers weighing up to 50lbs independently, and above 50lbs with assistance
