Responsibilities:
- Direct safety programs for the facility
- Lead compliance with OSHA regulations
- Maintain OSHA documents
- Maintain/inspect machines, equipment, and working conditions to ensure it is up to OSHA standards
- Regularly inspects operations of the plant to assure compliance in both operation and equipment
- Analyze incidents to reduce exposures
- Communicate safety policies to current and new personnel
- Reports potential violations and make corrections when needed
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate with employees
- Submit performance reports
- Check that production output is up to specifications
- Identify efficiency issues and make suggestions to improve
- Train new employees to use machinery safely and correctly
Qualifications:
- Experience in Electronic Manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA, accident investigations, and safety training
- Ability to identify weak points in processes and organizational structures
- Standard computer skills
- Ability to present info and respond to questions from managers, employees, and customers
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, regulations, and professional journals
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Dependable
