Job DescriptionJob Description

'...Licensed Clinical Psychologist who can provide in-person individual/ group psychotherapy, with preferred experience in child/adolescent therapy and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete Psychological assessments according to company policy and standards
  • Conduct intake evaluations
  • Conduct Group and Individual Therapy sessions
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests, generate comprehensive reports and provide recommendations
  • Complete psychological discharge summaries in a timely manner
  • Advocate for the best interests of clients
  • Generate a concise treatment plan to meet clients’ needs and meets compliance for third party payors 
  • Keep consistent communication on the progress towards the treatment plan
  • Maintain proper boundaries when interacting with clients and their families, as well as others associated with the case
  • Respond to requests and questions of clients in a timely manner
  • Comply with local and regional policies
  • Participate in departmental administrative, clinical, educational meetings
  • Comply with APA’s Code of Ethics and state laws pertaining to the delivery of mental health services

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or PsyD)
  • Licensed as a Psychologist in Nevada allowing you to provide unsupervised mental health therapy services.
  • Experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices.
  • Proficiency in intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment planning.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency in another language other than English
  • Experience with Child, Adolescent, and Young Adults
  • Intellectual and Autistic Testing..'
