Carolina Typewriter Co. Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our team of passionate and dedicated professionals and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll

- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents

- Process and monitor all incoming receivables and outgoing payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments

- Prepare and file all tax and compliance-related documents on behalf of the company

- Monitor and track expenses, maintaining accurate records and providing regular reports to management

- Assist with budget planning and forecasting, identifying areas for cost-saving and improvement

- Act as a liaison between the company and external vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments and resolving any discrepancies

- Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on financial status and address any questions or concerns

- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and sensitive company information according to company policies and procedures

 

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role

- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively

- Familiarity with tax and compliance laws and regulations

- A high level of professionalism and integrity
