Textile Colorist

Our Color team comments on strike-offs submitted from factories to make sure colors are done correctly and match standards before they go into production.

We are seeking a Textile Colorist to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, eager to learn and able to execute these essential responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Designers to evaluate all print strike-offs to manage colors and patterns.
• Ability to apply strong knowledge of the color spectrum to comment on print strike-offs in a fast-paced environment.
• Exert independent approval/rejection of all main material and trim components based on color standards.
• Analyze and disseminate comments daily to overseas factories and suppliers.
• Anticipate, identify, and assess quality and fabric challenges.
• Act as liaison on color issues between product development and design to ensure production timelines are being met.
• Manage data and records throughout the approval process.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, or internships.
• Expertise in differentiating the color spectrum.
• Knowledge of basic fabric construction and technical properties.
• Working knowledge of printing and dying techniques.

• Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior score on the 100 Hue Test.
