Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEssential Functions:
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and change orders for parts and/or special tools in accordance with customer ERP requirements and planning levels
- Secure and analyze quotations with suppliers, and recommend suppliers with respect to cost, quality and delivery competitiveness for assigned responsibilities
- Review backlog and past due reports and take required action on shortages, ensuring timely communication of status to other departments
- Track delivery dates to contract dates
- Track UPS/Fed-Ex inbound daily shipments
- Resolve debits, MRB and Accounting issues as quickly as possible to meet parts requirements
- Conduct blanket reviews, as required
- Manage all material rejection using SCAR process, follow-up and internal communication on corrective actions with suppliers
- Make recommendations, and implement change to reduce cost and waste
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates
- Experience in working with international suppliers a plus
- Organize and implement strategies to accomplish small business
