Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a strong background in HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing HVAC solutions for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze HVAC systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities.
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and load calculations for projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams.
  • Conduct field surveys and site inspections to assess project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
  • Participate in project meetings and present design concepts to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in HVAC software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with energy modeling and sustainability practices.
  • Familiarity with LEED certification processes.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
