Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Classic Car Repair Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in restoring and maintaining vintage vehicles, with a deep understanding of the mechanics and aesthetics unique to classic cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair classic vehicles to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on vintage and modern automobiles.
  • Restore classic car components, including engines, transmissions, and suspensions, ensuring that they function like new.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to source rare components.
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
  • Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Consult with customers to assess their needs and keep them informed on the progress of their vehicle’s restoration or repair.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic, with a strong preference for expertise in classic cars.
  • Technical diploma or certification in Automotive Mechanics; ASE certification is highly regarded.
  • Extensive knowledge of older vehicle systems and an ability to work with specialized tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for classic cars and dedication to craftsmanship.
